For sale is an excellent example of the Panerai Luminor Marina Militare Amerigo Vespucci, reference PAM00082.
Unveiled in 2000 and limited to 300 pieces, Panerai made this piece honouring Amerigo Vespucci, who was an Italian explorer from the 15th Century. In 1507, America was named after the Latin version of Vespucci's first name!
Today the name “Amerigo Vespucci” is carried around the world by the three-masted sailing ship of the Italian Navy: it is a famous school ship for the training of the official students of the Naval Academy of Livorno.
In a 44mm brushed Titanium case, this model features a blue vertical sunburst blue dial displaying "Marina Militare" on the dial and on the caseback is the depiction of Vespucci's training vessel.
It's powered by the OP II, an automatic movement with a power reserve of 56 hours.
Complete with original box & papers, this model is in very good condition throughout with light signs of wear commensurate with its age. It has Panerai full service papers from 2023 and comes with a complete 24 month warranty. A video condition review is available upon request.
