For Sale is the Rolex Explorer I 36mm "Swiss Only", reference 14270. This example features the transitional dial whereby the text at the 6pm simply reads "Swiss", signifying the introduction of Luminova on the dials. They were adopted for a brief period during late U and early serials, before being replaced by "Swiss Made" with the introduction of Super-Luminova.
It features a 36mm oyster car with. polished bezel and brushed oyster bracelet and folding clasp.
It's powered by the Rolex calibre 3000, a self-winding movement with a power reserve of 42 hours.
Considering its age, this 1999 model is in excellent condition and comes with a 2023 sales receipt and service history. It shows light signs of wear but is overall in great shape. A video condition review is available upon request. This model comes with a 24 month warranty.
