For Sale is an excellent example of the Sinn U1 1000m Automatic 1010.010. The U1 collection is known to be extremely robust with a superior resistance to external elements, even under extreme conditions of use.
The cases are all made from German Submarine Steel. This ensures they are resistant to seawater. Sinn source this material from ThyssenKrupp Marine Systems. It is the same steel that forms the external hull of the German Navy’s new submarine class 212, the most advanced non-nuclear submarines in the world.
Each model in the collection features a captive diver’s bezel with minute ratcheting and a luminous key mark. It is very secure and cannot be moved unintentionally.
This model is a December 2022 example in excellent condition, showing light signs of wear. Please study the images closely.
