For Sale is the very special Panerai Luminor Marina Militare Pre-Vendôme, reference 5218-202/a.
This model was amongst the first references produced by Panerai for the commercial market, with 140 units created with 10 additional prototypes. The 202/a is widely considered one of the Holy Grails within the Panerai collection, due to its rarity of the dial and PVD case.
It's powered by the ETA 6497-1, a manual wind movement with a power reserve of 42 hours.
This model comes with its box & papers, stamped certificate dated 28/11/1994 and a NOS PAV99 strap. It's in good overall condition with normal signs of wear commensurate with its age.
A video condition review is available upon request with a 12 month warranty included.
