For Sale is an excellent example of the Panerai Luminor 1950 8 Days Equation of Time, reference PAM00656.
With an RRP of £20,700. this model features a 47mm Titanium case enclosing a brown sandwich dial and domed sapphire crystal.
It's powered by the P.2002/e movement, a manual-wind 8 day powerhouse, featuring a power reserve on the back.
The most impressive feature is the "Equation of Time" complication, displayed on the linear scale at the 6pm. This indicates the measurement of the difference between actual solar time (the time between the highest point of the sun from one day to the next), and man-made solar time (a standard average of 24 hours per day).
This 2018 example comes complete with box & papers and a 24 month warranty with Watches of Switzerland. It is in excellent condition with light signs of wear. A video condition review is available upon request.
